The result from Kyambarawa ward in Kaura Namoda South has been officially collated, making it the fourth out of the six wards where the bye-election took place.
According to the official results released so far, the All Progressives Congress (APC) scored a total of 1,162 votes, while the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) scored a total of 660 votes.
Initially, results from three wards, namely Sakajiki, Banga, and Kagara, were collated. The APC won in Sakajiki and Kagara, while the PDP won in Banga ward.
Results from the remaining two wards, Kurya and Dan Isa, are awaited before the winner of the election is announced.
