Zamfara State Commissioner for Agriculture And Natural Resources Ibrahim Abdullahi Spirow had an interface with the residents of Unguwar Kara locust, Filin Jirgi Matazu, Yar Hanya and Awala areas of Gusau the capital city of Zamfara on Tuesday over some recorded cases of insecurity in their areas within the past two days.
In a statement copied from the facebook page of the commissioner’s aid Muhammad Haruna Zuga said, the rationale behind the meeting was to hear from the residents of the affected areas the peculiarity of the security challenges facing them and what immediate intervention they needed from the government.
The Commissioner who interacted freely with the people assured them of his commitment in making sure that all the right steps needed to be taken to avert the continued occurrence of such ugly incidences are instituted.
He thanked them for the visit and prayed for God almighty to bring an end to the lingering security challenges facing the state and country at large.
