Residents of Kwatarkwashi area in Bungudu local government of Zamfara state had on Friday the 6th day of September 2024 attacked and killed a suspected armed bandit along Gusau-Zaria highway.
A source who craved anonymity informed this medium that he saw with his necked eyes how the community people, after finger-pointing the suspected bandit as one of the suspects terrorizing the area, went after him until they murdered him.
He said, after killing the bandit, the community people recovered two deadly guns in his possession.
The source further told this medium that the dead body of the murdered bandit was abandoned along Gusau-Zaria highway even as residents go about their normal businesses.
It could be recall that, few days back, two suspected informers were also intercepted along Kura area few meters from the scene of the Friday incidence.
