Zamfara State Deputy Governor Sen. Hassan Muhammad Nasiha has left Zamfara for Abuja to bid farewell to his colleagues.
According to the statement by the Director General Press Affairs Babangida Umar Zurmi said the Deputy Governor took off from Sultan Abubakar (111) Airport Sokoto Monday evening.
It could be recalled that Senator Hassan Muhammad was nominated for consideration as Deputy Governor of Zamfara by Governor Bello Matawalle on Wednesday.
He is a sitting Senator representing Zamfara Central before his nomination and screening by the state assembly members.
The Deputy Governor is expected to be at the red chamber of the Senate to perform the last official function within the week, while he is expected back home to Gusau to continue with his official duties as the State Deputy Governor as soon as he is done.
