The former Commissioner for Health in Zamfara, Aliyu Abubakar Tsafe, has challenged a federal lawmaker and his political associate Aminu Jaji over what he described as an alleged political conspiracy to removing 40% of the APC ward executives that are loyal to him.
Aliyu Tsafe, who described the decision as something that may not sit well for the success of the party, insisted that the same federal lawmaker Aminu Jaji that was handed over 40% of the ward executives in Tsafe was suspended from the party following allegations of anti-party activities labeled against him during the 2023 election.
He wondered how a suspended lawmaker accused of anti-party activities could be reconsidered for a special status in the party, asking whether the allegations labeled against him were found to be wrong.
He lambasted the federal lawmaker for refusing to recognize former Governor Yari as the consensus party leader in the state, even when all of the APC stakeholders in Zamfara, including the current Minister of Defense , Bello Matawalle, accepted that Sen. Yari be recognized as such.
He challenged anyone who doubted the capacity of Yari as the APC leader in Zamfara to call for voting and see whether they could get that status conferred on Sen. Yari changed.
He warned that unless these categories of politicians, including the federal lawmaker Jaji, are not interested in the success of the APC, such contradictions should not be brought at this very critical time.
He told those ward excos that were removed that Sen. Yari has promised that all of them would be crowned as “Renewed Hope Ambassadors” and assured that all that the APC ward executives would enjoy as a matter of privilege, they would be accorded the same.
