The forum of private health facility operators has appealed to Zamfara State government to as a matter of public interest absorb the state indigents who have been trained at various health training institutions so that they can productively manage the existing public health facilities in the state.
The Secretary of the Forum Comrade Sani Haliru who made the appeal when he featured on the Thunder Blowers TV show programme “Tirka-Tirka” on Saturday said the call become imperative considering the additional 147 primary health care centers the state government is constructing.
On the ongoing re-accreditation exercise often embarked by the state ministry for health Sani Haliru said, the union is willing to support the effort of the government in making sure that the operations of the private health sector has been sanitized in Zamfara State.
He noted that the issue of health care management is something that requires competency and expertise since the outcome of services delivered to the people are expected to be 100%.
He used the opportunity to call for public support to enable the government actualized its overall objectives in this regard
