A popular bandit leader by name Dan-Isuhu has been reported killed during an encounter with join security forces along Danjibga area of Tsafe local government in Zamfara.
His murder according to source not from the government confirmed that Dan Isuhu alongside many of his followers were murderously killed during the Thursday encounter.
Spokesperson of Zamfara Governor Sulaiman Bala Idris confirmed the development in his verified Facebook page few hours ago.
The bandit leader who was killed has been the one terrorizing commuters along Funtua-Zamfara highway for years.
He is also believed to be a younger brother to one of the wanted notorious bandit leader Ado Alieru.
Himself and his brother Ado Alieru and their gang supporters have been operating from the popular Munhaye forest.
