A political group Jajiya political movement led by Aliyu Abubkar Tsafe has affirmed the suspension of Zamfara APC Chairman Tukur Umar Danfulani and his Secretary Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima.

Tsafe who stated this during the stakeholder’s meeting of the factional group in Gusau on Wednesday, insisted that the two political leaders were suspended due to offenses considered critical to the destruction of the party.

He said part of the allegations labelled against them which resulted to their suspension by their various wards, local governments and state was creating division and disunity within the party members.

According to him, when these leaders were suspended, Jaji as the leader of the movement and one of the critical stakeholders in the Zamfara APC believed that the better option was to instruct Isiyaka Ajiya Anka who is the Deputy Chairman of the APC from the Zamfara West and Assistant Secretary to take over the leadership of the affairs of the party pending when a Congress was called for the election of the new leadership of the party.

He affirmed that the procedure used in appointing Isiyaka Ajiya Anka and his new acting Secretary was the best one recommended by the party constitution.

He recalled how Jaji aided former Governor Bello Matawalle when he was rejected by some stakeholders of the APC and ensure that he was accepted into the party

He said if not because people like Jaji have done their best in building the party, Matawalle would have not developed interest in joining the party.

He also recalled how former Governor Ahmad Sani Yarima pleaded with the Jaji and his political group to allow Matawalle take over 60% of the party positions and also be allowed to appoint the Chairmen of the party in the (14) local governments.

He said except for the Chairman of APC Gusau local government, Alh Dan Ayya who was allowed to maintain his seat, all the Chairmen of the APC in the (14) local governments were appointed by Bello Matawalle.

He therefore assured the party supporters that hence the Tukur Umar Danfulani whom he referred to as “former Chairman” and his team have dwelled on serving some segment of the APC leaders and ignoring others, Jaji political supporters will redefine a new course and champion a true political journey that will accommodate all.

He urged the new leadership led by Isiyaka Ajiya Anka to remain resolute in advancing the course of justice, transparency, and fairness to all the party members regardless of status.

He also assured the teeming supporters that Jaji as one of the potential gubernatorial candidates in Zamfara will continue to sustain the momentum of building the party for the better.
