Political observers are of the views that, the development within the PDP Zamfara is signaling a significant show of force as candidates with aspirations are working tighter and closely with their allies to actualized their dream of securing the party’s nomination.
But others believe if the party and indeed the Governor did not intervene to a certain level, the free for all aspirations for the local government race in Zamfara may cause certain frictions “even though it is democracy”.
It is not clear whether the leading opposition party, the APC is participating in the forthcoming local government race.
No preparation is visibly seen from the party as a sign that the party is participating in the election.
The party did not also release any statement to States it’s positions regarding the race.
All eyes now on the ruling PDP to see how the battle will end.
