The Emir of Moriki, in Zamfara Alh Bashir Isma’il Muhammad Ari has called on the people of Moriki to be more united and help one another, especially at this critical time of economic hardship and insecurity affecting the country.
The monarch made the call while delivering the 2024 Sallah message to his subjects at the Eid praying ground in Moriki on Sunday.
He admonished the people to inculcate the culture of assisting one another, especially the less privileged among them as this would further shower love, unity, and peace among the society.
Alhaji Bashir Isma’il Muhammad Ari emphasized also the need for continued prayers for the peace and tranquility to return to both Zamfara and country as whole.
The Emir thanked the people of Moriki for their support and loyalty, and also urged them to be law-abiding and respectful to the constituted authorities.
Meanwhile, the Emir called on the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in the country to consider the option of lowering the cost of transport fare to reduce the level of suffering encountered by the people.
