Zamfara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced the suspension of its State Publicity Secretary Faruk Shatiman Rijiya.
In an interview with the state secretary of the party Ibrahim Umar (Gado Sunny) the party suspended the politician over his comment on a video that went viral on social media that the PDP led government in Zamfara is not carrying the party along in most of its decisions.
The party Secretary said the comment made by Shatiman Rijiya is injurious to the cordial working relationship between Matawalle government and PDP as a party.
He said, the resolution for the suspension was reached during an emergency meeting held yesterday.
Gado Sunny explained that it was evidently on record that the party PDP is active and more alive in Zamfara state more than ever than before as the Governor always put party interest first in the majority of his decisions.
On when the party may recall the politician, Gado Sunny said, as soon as the party executives meet and discuss the matter again it would communicate its decisions to the public.
