Zamfara state police command has enjoined the members of the public to disregard an old video clip in circulation where the state police Commissioner was holding a confidence building press briefing regarding rumor of an attempt to attack churches in Zamfara state way back in November 8th 2021.
According to the statement by the state police spokesperson SP Shehu Muhammad, the video in circulation is an old one but being spread by some mischievous persons to cause some confusion in the state.
While assuring the command of its commitment to ensure that lives and properties of the people are protected, it called on the public and the media to disregard the video saying it is the handiwork of some mischief-makers.
