A former Gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressive Congress APC Aminu Sani Jaji has bagged a PhD on public health.
He was awarded the PhD degree by Maryam Abacha American University, Maradi, Republic of Niger.
Aminu Jaji a member of All Progressives Congress is currently a federal lawmaker representing Kaura Namoda/Birnin Magaji federal constituency at the Federal House of Representatives.
He is also the current Chairman of the house committee on Ecological Funds.
As a medical practitioner, he worked for a number of years in the development of Zamfara State health Sector before he eventually joined partisan politics.
He served as the Chairman of All Nigeria Peoples Party ANPP Birnin Magaji local government before he became a substantive council chairman for the same local government.
He served as a member of the Federal House of Representatives for the same constituency between 2015-2019.
Building up to the 2019 general elections, Jaji was among the top eight aspirants for the post of a Governor of Zamfara and fought giant against the anointed candidate of the outgoing Governor of Zamfara as at that time Mukhtar Shehu Idris.
Their struggle took them months of judicial tussle that ended in the Supreme Court where APC and all its candidates lost their positions to the opposition PDP.
He is currently a Governorship aspirant in the All Progressive Congress and leading a faction headed by Isiyaka Ajiya Anka.
He served as Director mobilization for the Tinubu/Shatima campaign council for the North-West geopolitical zone.
