Zamfara APC stakeholder Ibrahim Maigandi Danmalikin Gidan Goga has challenged the Minister of State for Defense Bello Matawalle over his inability to address the lingering security challenges confronting his immediate local government council of Maradun.
The politician dropped the blame during an APC stakeholders meeting held in Maradun on Saturday.
He said it was surprising that the Minister of State for Defense Bello Matawalle is from Maradun but noted that Maradun local government in its entirety has become highly insecure
He also argued that he is not part of those that believe, the insecurity crises facing Zamfara and Nigerian by extension, cannot be handled, noting that, government can do it.
“We expect the Minister of State Defense to drop whatever he is doing the secure Maradun his immediate hometown as show of concern to the problem of his people.
He called on the Minister of State for Defense Mr. Matawalle and indeed Senator Yari to be apt and act speedily by ensuring that the security problem confronting the state and their zone is squarely addressed.
