Members of Zamfara state house of assembly had confirmed the nomination of six permanent commissioners of Zamfara State House of Assembly Service Commission on Thursday.
The house also confirmed the nomination of seven permanent commissioners of Zamfara state Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC).
According to the house spokesperson Nasiru Usman Biyabiki, house leader Faruk Musa Dosara who presented the motion urged his colleagues to confirm the nominees as requested by the executive arm
The nominees for the post of Chairman and Commissioner of the state house of assembly service commission included, Hon. Mansur A. Musa Bungudu Chairman, Abdulkadir Abdullahi, Sani Umar Gusau, Garba Muhammad modomawa, Yunusa Abdullahi, Zainab Halilu Anka and Hon. Muhammad Maikudi Kaya are to serve as Permanent Commissioners
Those who are to serve as Permanent Commissioners in the Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission are Abdullahi Garba Marmaro, Barrister Isah Altine Wonaka, Kabiru Isah Jangeru, Muhammad Sani Wakili, Tukur Aliyu Haido, Mainasara Shehu Bakura and Abdulkarim Balarabe Boko.
After extensive deliberation, members of the state house of assembly confirmed their nomination as requested.
Speaker Nasiru Mu’azu Magarya later thanked the members for okaying the nomination from the executive and wished the appointees successful tenure in office.
