Zamfara state house of assembly had resumes for the continuation of its plenary and other legislative engagements with effect from Monday the 24th of January 2022.
According to the statement by the house spokesperson Mustapha Jafaru Kaura the resumption followed expiration of the one-month recess often embarked by the members.
Jafaru said the resumption of the legislative business is in line with the provision of section (92) of the 1999 constitution as amended.
In his new year commitment, Speaker Nasiru Muazu Magarya assured the good people of Zamfara of robust plenaries and credible legislations that would center on improvement of security situation in the state.
