Zamfara State Governor has ordered for the reconstruction of broken perimeter fence of Federal College of Education Technical Gusau aimed at enhancing security.
The Provost of the college Dr. Umar Bello who stated this during an exclusive interview with this medium said, the Governor gave the commitment when he paid assessment visit over the threatening news of armed bandits’ movement along the college.
He said the “instructions” given was an immediate one, noting that he had also instructed the the police commissioner to deployed police outpost around the college with a view to enhancing the security of the area.
The Governor’ visit was premised on the rumor of alleged movement of some bandits along Mareri area of Gusau local government area of the state
