A head of the 2023 general election, former Civilian Governor of Zamfara Ahmad Sani Yarima has declared that there would be no governorship vacancy for Zamfara state APC since the serving Governor is recon testing for the Governorship seat.
According to the party spokesperson Mal. Yusuf Idris said the good work of Governor Bello Matawalle since inception has earned him the automatic ticket for the Governorship seat of Zamfara APC come 2023.
He urged the leadership of the party to continue to work towards the success of the APC throughout the state in future elections,, especially as the nation prepares for the 2023 general elections.
He urged the leaders to continue to work for the unity of the party by ensuring inclusiveness and consultations at all time.
On how to nominate candidates for the forthcoming 2023 elections in Zamfara Yarima said this time around, all those interested persons should look for supporters; hence there would be no favorite candidate.
He appealed to the party leaders to conduct themselves with the fear of God, noting that such is the surest way to success.
Earlier, the state APC Chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani said he was at the house of Sen. Yarima along with some members of his executive to thank him for his continued support and fatherly roles in the growth and development of the APC and state at large.
He further explained that as the back born of Zamfara politics, Yarima will always be consulted for advice on matters of sensitive concern to the party.
