The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Welfare, Sadiya Umar Faruk has debunked allegation of alleged discrimination in the distribution of financial assistance by her ministry.
Sadiya also warn in strongest term the beneficiaries of the program to reject any amount less than 30,000 thousand.
Speaking during a press conference in Gusau the minister said all measures aimed at ensuring strict compliance where already in place.
She said each beneficiary will receive nothing less than thirty thousand ( 30,000) as minimum while the maximum amount is eighty thousand(80,000) to each beneficiary.
She said the delay in the distribution was caused by the cancelation of contracts due to incompetency on the side of the contractors.
According to the minister the programme has reached about 70%, stressing that the administration of president Muhammadu Buhari is committed in uplifting the standard of Nigerians.
