A chieftain of All Progressive Grand Alliance Alh Sami Abdullahi Wamban Shinkafi has called on the security agencies in Zamfara especially the police commissioner to be alive to dealing with any citizen of Zamfara found in possession of AK47 without authorization from the authorities.
Wamban Shinkafi who make the call during a media briefing held in his country home Shinkafi on Sunday.
Wamban Shinkafi charged the state Commissioner of Police and indeed head of security agencies not to spare any one found with AK47 in his possession as a way of implementing the presidential order.
He accused some military officers who always compromise their ethics and code of operation by aiding and abetting criminals with weapons and military uniforms.
He described the news spreaded about the invasion of Federal University Gusau which he said after extensive inquiries it was found to be not true as unfortunate.
He cautioned conventional media outfits and indeed social media handlers to be frank and desist from spreading unverified information that are capable of inciting the public.
