The 120 indigenes of Zamfara state selected for university degree programmes in Togo by an educational philanthropist Dauda Lawal are to leave Gusau the state capital for Lagos on Sunday.

According to the Coordinator of Dauda Lawal Campaign Eng. Garba Yandi the committee headed by him will bid the students farewell at the Command Guest in Gusau by 8:00am on Sunday (tomorrow).

Parent and guardians are expected to see their wards off and attend the farewell event after which the vehicles that are to convey the beneficiaries would immediately take off to Seme Boarder in Lagos.

Eng. Yandi said a committee is set up to accompany them to Togo and all their logistics bursaries are to be handed over to them.
