Governor Bello Matawalle had received with joy and happiness the abducted Furfuri girls who had been in captivity for the past four months.
The Governor who expressed gratitude to God almighty for securing the release of the abductees unconditionally said, he has been personally disturbed since the abduction of the victims but insisted that with the tireless prayers by the people added with the joint security efforts between his government and security agencies, he was sure the victims would come back home safely.
He urged the victims and their relations to consider what happened as an act of God and prayed for God almighty to forgive the victims for the suffering they have undergone.
He assured the people of Zamfara that his administration will continue to do its best to ensure that the state is secured, noting that security will continue to be accorded the priority it has deserved.
