Wife of Zamfara Governor Hajiya Aisha Bello Matawalle was among the APC Governor’s Wife that joined Mrs Remi Tinubu to Yobe as part of their commitment toward campaigning for Bola Ahmad Tinubu and Kashi Shatima Presidential candidature.
Also in the APC Women Presidential Campaign Team was Wife of the former Borno State Governor Nana Kashim Shatima whose husband is the vice Presidential running mate.
On arrival, they paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Yobe State Mai Mala Buni at the Yobe State Government House where they thanked the Governor for his effort in making the party (APC) much stronger in Yobe State.
While assuring the people of Yobe State of the determination of her husband to making Nigeria secured and economically vibrant if elected, she announced the donation of N20 million Naira, Food stuffs and clothing materials as part of the humanitarian support to the people of Yobe State by APC Womencampaign wing.
She announced that the cash donation made was to be able to empower (400) victims of Boko Haram insurgency with at least (N50,000) each to be able to begin an entrepreneurial business.
Governor Mai Mala Buni while receiving the delegation thanked them for visiting Yobe State and for supporting the people of the state and assured them that Yobe will continue to be an APC control State beyond 2023.
