Resident of Tofar Magami in Dansadau area of Zamfara state have fled out of their community as a result of deadly attack launched by armed bandits.
A resident told BBC Hausa service that the bandits have now taken over the community and occupy houses of the people.
“The entire village of Tofar Magami have fled, and the bandits have taken over the village our people who attempted to went back and packed their belongings informed us that the bandits have occupied our entire houses”.
Some have moved to Jangeme, some Wanke while others have moved to Gusau and they usually came to the main road and kidnapped people.
The sources added that the security agencies stationed at Jangeme have tried their best,, but they could not do otherwise.
The source added “the bandits kidnapped at will and the most frustrating part of the situation they raped our wives inside their matrimonial rooms and in our presence”.
