Sarkin Yamman Gobir Alh Salihu Mai Nasara has informed Radio France International that recently, bandits places a fine of 3M naira on one of his community threatening hell if they fail to pay the money.
The monarch who was speaking against the background of the recent attacks in his communities noted that, his people have to donate cows to be sold to raise the money in order to avoid the anger of the bandits.
He noted that, up to now, the people are to balance the sum of 200,000 to the bandits hence the 3M cannot be raised at once.
He called on the Federal Government to do everything to secure his people hence the locations of the bandits are fully known.
Meanwhile, BBC Hausa service has reported that, the figure of the dead persons involved in the Wednesday attack on people of Sabon Birni and Gwadabawa has raised to 75.
It was also learned that, Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and Sultan Sa’ad Abubakar have paid a condolence visit to the people of the area.
It could be recall that, on Wednesday suspected armed bandits attacked some communities in Sabon Birni and Gwadabawa leading to the death of over sixty people at the instance.
