He is yet to make any formal pronouncement as regard to his pictures and that of Governor Matawalle that are viral on the social media.
Before now, he is among the closets political allies of Zamfara former Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.
He served as the Special Adviser on Special Duties during the tenure of Yari as Zamfara Governor.
He was an instrumental figure in the 2019 elections which led to the success of the APC in Zamfara before its victory was aborted by the Supreme Court of Nigeria and handed over to the PDP in May 2019.
