The Chinese Nationale who was accused of murdering his Kano fiancé Ummukhulsum Mr Frank Geng has told the court that the deceased Ummita murdered herself as against the contrary news making round the public.
During his cross-examination, he informed the judge that, he has faced serious molestations in the hand of the deceased.
He stated further that, Ummita was the one that brought out the knife and attempted to kill him.
He said that very night when he came to the family house of Ummita and called her, she refused to see him, instead she sent him a text message insulting him outrightly.
He said she refused to allow him access to their house for some hours, not until when their neighbor insisted that they should allow him access to the house.
Furthermore, he lamented that, during the hours he waited, rain beat hail out of him before Ummita allow him access to the house.
He said on accessing the house she began to render abusive insult on him, and she eventually slapped him.
He said it was during that encounter she went to the room, brought a knife and attempted to smashed him before took defensive position against her attempted action.
Counsel to the accused, Barr. Muhammad Balarabe Dan Azumi sought for another adjourned date for continuation of defense.
The presiding judge fixed 7th and 8th of February 2023 for continuation of hearing
