Katsina State Government Umar Dikko Radda has approved the allocation of Government Technical College Funtua as take off campus for the newly approved Federal University of Health Science.
Dikko Radda communicates the approval in Funtua on Thursday at the inauguration of the distribution of fertilizer, motorcycles and farming implements to the people of Funtua zone as secured by their senator.
Mr. Dikko Radda said, the decision is to allow for the immediate take-off of the study programs by the new university.
He called on the people of Funtua to support the decision and do everything humanly possible to lend their support for the successful take-off of the University.
He also assured them that his government will continue to do everything possible to ensure that armed banditry is fought to the finishing.
During the event, the Governor flagged off the distribution of (12, 700) bags of fertilizer to the farmers in the eleven local governments as well as motorcycles to farmers and members of the vigilante groups.
