Governor Dauda Lawal has released a list containing (16) nominees for the post of Commissioners and members of the state Executive Council.
Those who made the list include a former Deputy Clerk National Assembly Lawal Barau Bungud, former Director UBEC and former gubernatorial aspirant in PDP Malam Wadatau Madawaki, and Associate Professor Nasir Anka from Federal University Gusau.
Others include one of the APC gubernatorial aspirants Abdulmalik Garba Gajam, former Director Dauda Lawal Dare Foundation Engr. Garba Ahmad Yandi, and a retired military personal and also former Ambassador to Guinea Conakry Amb. (Capt.) Bala Mai Riga Mafara.
Among the nominees also include Comr. Mannir Haidara Kaura, Hon. Tasiu Dangote Shinkafi, Hon. Kabir Moyi Birnin Magaji and Hon. Yau Gamji Bakura.
He has also nominated Hon. Nasiru Zarumi from Zurmi, Mamuda Mohd Dantawasa from Bukkuyum, Hon. Sulaiman Adamu Gummi, Hon. Abdulrahaman Tumbido, Dr. Bello Auta Gusau and Prof. Shehu Ismail Chafe.
The nominees are currently undergoing security clearance, after which they would be sent to the state House of Assembly for confirmation.
