The former Managing Director of Zamfara state-owned newspaper “The legacy” Ibrahim Salisu Na’ayi died in the late hours of Monday.
He died after battling with a protracted illness at the Federal Medical Center Gusau.
Na’ayi as he is popularly called, served as the Managing Director of the Legacy during the tenure of Zamfara former Governor Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi Dallatun Zamfara.
He was also the pioneer Managing Director of “The Path” news paper a newspaper company owned by the Sokoto stage government.
He also served as Director Information Services at the State Ministry of Information when the state was newly created.
His funeral prayer has been scheduled for 10:00am in Gusau.
