Sen. AbduLaziz Yari Abubakar the Senator representing Zamfara West has facilitated the recruitment of (92) indigenes of Zamfara West into the Nigeria Army.
They were officially commissioned at the final stage of their training activities at the Nigerian Army Depot, Zaria, Kaduna State on Saturday, 14/06/2025.
Senator Yari was represented at the graduation ceremony by the Coordinator of his constituency office, Alh Sha’ayau Yusuf and other staff of the Constituency office.
Speaking specifically to 92 indigenes of Zamfara West Senatorial District that he facilitated their recruitment under the commissioned batch, Alhaji Abdulaziz
Sen. Yari congratulated them for making it to the final stage of the training, adding that their resilience, patience and hard work has made the people of the Senatorial zone proud.
He also urged them to move to the field of their assignment with the desired courage to help the federal government in its quest to fighting insurgency.
He explained that the Zonal Constituency office will in collaboration with all the relevant agencies continue to source for such placements to deserving constituents so that the rate of unemployment among youth in the senatorial zone can be reduced to the barest minimum.
Alhaji Sha’ayau Yusuf therefore appealed to people in the State to avail themselves of the services being provided by the Marafan Sokoto aimed at improving their well-being.
