Former Commissioner of Commerce in the administration of Sen. Yari in Zamfara, Ahmad Abubakar Maradun, has stated that their political loyalty to Senator Abdulaziz Yari as the leader of the APC in Zamfara is not extended blindly.
Maradun, who stated this during a TV show with Thunder Blowers Multimedia Services in Gusau on Friday, said they have accepted Sen. Yari as their political leader , because one cannot have a successful political journey without someone in the lead, but noted that their support and loyalty is extended with sincere caution.
“There are two types of political leaders: there are those who leads the people blindly without direction, and there are those that leads the people with a sincere direction, and our loyalty to Yari is extended and sustain with sincere political caution and we assume he is providing a genuine and clear direction.
He noted that even though the APC at the national level has abandoned Zamfara party supporters, it’s not too late if the right thing can be done to fix the anomalies, but if the continue in the same direction, definitely there will be a serious challenge to be faced in the 2027 elections.
He explained further that, out of many federal appointments given to Zamfara, not up to (3) were given to Yari’s political group, indicating a lack of fairness to other members of the party. In the state
