Some Management staff of the Federal University Gusau including its Vice Chancellor Professor Muazu Abubakar Gusau have received their first dose of Oxford-Astera Zeneca vaccine.
The administration of the vaccine took place at the office of the Vice Chancellor and was conducted by staff of the State Ministry for Health.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Mu’azu Abubakar Gusau said the vaccination of the Management staff would serve as a flag-off of the exercise in the University.
Other members of staff who were vaccinated included the Registrar of the University, Mal. Yakubu Audu Anivbassa and Director Health Services Department, Dr. Babangida Abdul’azeez.
The exercise would continue with other staff of the University on Thursday, 25th March 2021.
