The Emir of Gummi retired Justice Lawal Hassan Gummi had conferred the title of Magayakin Gummi to Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara state.
The award of the title of Magayakin Gummi was conferred on the Governor when he paid a royalty visit to the Emir in his Gummi Palace.
He noted that the award of the title was in recognition of the hardwork and commitment exhibited by the Governor in the transformation of the state noting that the emirate is keenly happy with the level of stability created by the administration of Bello Matawalle.
The monarch expressed satisfaction with the manner the Governor is steering the affairs of the state, noting that the award of the title will serve as a morale boost for the Governor to do more.
Governor Bello thanked the Emir and members of his council for considering him worthy of the title and assured them of his continued but tireless effort in lifting the standard of the state.
