Governor Bello Matawalle has described the death of elder statesman Alh Ibrahim Bagobiri as a monumental loss to the people of Zamfara state.
The Governor stated this on Sunday when he paid a condolence visit to the family of the deceased at his resident in the GRA, Gusau, the state capital.
According to Jamilu Iliyasu the Press Secretary of the Governor, Matawalle described the late elder statesman as honest and sincere person who contributed immensely to the development of the state .
He specifically noted that, late Ibrahim Bagobiri has done well in the development of education in Zamfara state.
While praying for God almighty to grant the deceased Jannatul Firdausi, he urged his family members to take hard and bear the loss.
The Governor during the visit donated (40) bags of rice and assorted food items and the sum of ten million naira to the families of the deceased.
