Governor Bello Matawalle in company of the former Governor of Zamfara State Abdulazeez Yari Abubakar had met with Maradun APC stakeholders from Yari camp to discuss vital issues regarding the party in the spirit of the ongoing reconciliation.
The meeting which took place at the state government house was chaired by the Governor and among the stakeholders that attended the meeting were two former Maradun local government council chairmen Ahmad Abubakar Maradun and Yahaya Shehu Maradun.
The Governor thanked them for honoring the invitation and expressed hope that they will do their best to strengthen the unity in the party.
Details of their meeting were not made known to the press, but a sourced who confided for anonymity said the issues discussed are meant to seal off the differences and forge a common ground for the progress and unity of the party.
