As APC round up its gubernatorial campaign rally in Zamfara North, the campaign train moved to Tsafe as part of its campaign tour in Zamfara Central Senatorial zone.
The rally in Tsafe was dominated by thousands of the party supporters who took to the major streets of the town to welcome the gubernatorial candidate of the party Bello Muhammad Matawalle and his other party stakeholders.
As usual former Governors of Zamfara Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, Ahmad Sani Yarima, Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi, serving and former Senators and Federal House of representative led the campaign team to Tsafe.
It took Matawalle hours to accomplish a twenty-five minutes journey from Gusau to Tsafe as mammoth crowd stood on the streets and highway to welcome the Governor and his campaign entourage.
At the campaign venue, it was a standstill for the Governor’s convoy as thousands of APC supporters lined up to show their solidarity and love for the APC and its candidates.
Former Governor Yari thanked the party supporters for their show of love and commitment toward the success of the APC project.
He added that if voted into power, APC government under Bello Matawalle will work harder to fight insecurity and ensure sustainable peace in Zamfara state.
Governor Bello Matawalle, on the other hand, commended the party supporters for their dedication to the development of the party.
He expressed happiness that, despite political pressure encountered by the state after the 2019 elections, the political unity of the actors in the state is achieved.
He assured the people of Tsafe that if given the second chance, he will do his best to improve security and enhance the lives of the people of the state.
