GEDA ORGANIZES INTERFACE TO CELEBRATE WITH EMIR OF GUSAU OVER NATIONAL MERIT AWARD.

Gusau Emirate Development Association has organized an interface to honor the Emir of Gusau Ibrahim Bello over his conferment of the National merit award of (OFR) by President Muhammadu Buhari.

Zamfara State Deputy Governor Sen. Hassan Muhammad Nasiha stood in for Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle at the event.

Spokesperson of the state Deputy Governor Babangida Umar Zurmi in a statement stated that, the conferment of the National merit award to the Emir is a clear demonstration of the commitment of the monarch in ensuring the welfare and wellbeing of the people.

“National Honor was an addition to so many track records of the Emir, putting into consideration the contributions of Dr. Ibrahim Bello, OFR, in all sectors of the economy, especially healthcare sector and others in all ramifications leading to attainment of rapid development of his people” Zurmi added.

According to the Deputy Governor, “the people of Gusau Emirate are and supporting all laudable initiatives and programs championed by the Emir, especially those that have direct bearing to the lives of the people”.

Jarman Gussu used the opportunity on behalf of Government, and good people of Zamfara State to congratulate the Emir over his recent consideration for the national honor by President Muhammdu Buhari, and also called on the royal father to continue with his good work of uniting his people.
He commended the organizers for the initiative and pray for God almighty to reward them abundantly.

While commending the organizers of the program, Senator Hassan Muhammad encouraged the Chairman of the Association Alhaji Mujitafa Isah, Mni, and his executives to sustain the initiatives and fear no one in the discharge of their responsibilities as he will stand by their progressive move all the times.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
