A political support group Zannah Political Network (Zapnet) has commended the effort of the Member representing Maru/Bungudu Federal Constituency, Zamfara State, Hon. Abdulmalik Zubair (Zannan Bungudu) for his tremendous and unprecedented effort towards education and students support within and outside his constituency.
Speaking to journalists in an exclusive interview on Wednesday, Engr. Buhari the secretary of the group said he was amazed by the recent sponsorship of fifty students at once, from the state for tertiary education programs, in addition to the hundreds of them he have been sponsored at various institutions within and outside the state.
The programme according to the Secretary covers their tuition fees, accommodation, feeding and other allowances a support according to him which demonstrates his passion and commitment to the growth and development of education in Zamfara State.
Also speaking over the weekend, a former Special Adviser in the State and Patron of the organisation, Hon. Sulaiman Usman Zumunchi said Zannah is the person that provided the fund for accreditation to the Federal College of Education Technical (FCET), Gusau to enable the School run degree programs. This is in addition to provision of buses/vehicles to Students Unions Governments in the State.
In another development, the State Coordinator, Zapnet, Alhaji Mannir Ibrahim said as far as education is concern there are more to come interms of the welfare and support to students not necessarily from his constituency but the entire Zamfara and even neighbouring states.
“Zannah is someone that is interested in all aspects of development but for him, education is a top priority”. Mannir stated”.
He prayed for Allah’s guidance and protection to Zannah, to enable him continue with wonderful job he is doing now and subsequently get promotion to the highest political office in the state for the benefits of the entire citizens.
