The All Progressive Congress APC says, the impeachement of Maradun local government Council Chairman by his councilors will result to an exercise in futility.
The State Chairman of the party Alh Lawal M. Liman who disclosed this In an interview with Thunder Blowers shortly after the impeachement noted that, it’s unfortunate PDP can resort to influencing the impeachement even when the party is fully aware that, the matter is before the competent court of law.
Lawal Kaura noted further that, APC as law abiding party will continue to pursue the legal tussle in court to the logical conclusion adding that, the decision of impeaching the council chairman will surely be reversed by the court.
“We are fully aware that, money was used to intimidate the local government councilors to carry out this illegal action even when the ruling party the PDP is fully aware that, the matter is before the court and we will not be intimidated by that illegal action and we are hopeful the the chairman will finish his three years term when the court case is finally determined”.
The Chairman called on the supportera of the APC to remain law abiding and allow the party to continue with the legal steps till the stolen is retrieved.
