The members of the PDP Caretaker committee set up for the Katsina State have met for the first time since their appointment to strategize toward the progress of the party.
The (19) man caretaker committee is headed by Dr. Abdulrahman Usman with Hajiya Halima Zubairu as Secretary.
Part of the issues discussed was the preparation for the conduct of the supplementary election for the state assembly constituency in Kankia, Kankara and Kurfi local governments scheduled for 15th April 2023.
While assuring their readiness to revive the PDP, the members of the committee urged all stakeholders of the party to renew their commitment to supporting their mission.
They promised to ensure justice and a level playing ground for all members of the party, regardless of status or level within the party.
