Gunmen are currently carrying out heartless operation in Maru local government area of Zamfara state
A source confirmed to this medium that, the bandits are numbered over (100) and armed with dangerous weapons have taken over strategic positions in the town.
It was confirmed by a source at Maru that members of the organized vigilante and conventional forces have mobilized the bandits out the town.
“The vigilante and security forces are making effort to move the bandits out of the town but everyone remains indoor for now”.
He added that, “no one can tell you exactly what is the situation of things whether they have killed or abducted people because everyone remains indoor may be till tomorrow” a source confirmed this on phone.
According to another source from Bungudu said they are hearing sounds of gunshots fired from Maru.
This is attack came few days after the attack they launched leading to the kidnapping of three persons including married woman.
