Nigerian Military operatives under “Operation Fansar Yamma” have declared that they have succeeded in neutralizing the bandit hideouts belonging to the notorious bandit kingpin Bello Turji at Fakai village of Shinkafi local government area of Zamfara State.
According to the statement by the Spokesperson of the operation, the operation which was aided by the army airstrike also assisted in neutralizing the bandit hideout belonging to another bandit leader, Mallam Ilah also along same Fakai area.
During the operation, according to the statement, the military succeeded in rescuing seven abductees held in captivity by the bandits.
The operation according to the statement took place on the 10th of January 2025.
