Newly elected members of the State Working Committee of the APC in Zamfara led by their Chairman Tukur Danfulani had embarked on thank you visit to critical stakeholders of the party on Sunday.
Those visited included former civilian Governors of the state Ahmad Sani Yarima and Mahmuda Aliyu Shinkafi where the two leaders affirmed that, APC Zamfara is one and would remain one.
According to the statement by the party Publicity Secretary Yusuf Idris Gusau, Senator Yarima specifically called on those challenging the supremacy of the APC led by Bello Matawalle in Zamfara to stop that in the overall interest of the development of the party in the state.
Mahmuda and Yarima both charged the new leadership to ensure inclusion, fairness, and justice to all members of the party and also urged them to continue to sensitize the public on the need for having a party membership card.
The party leaders also visited the private residence of former member federal House of Representatives Aminu Sani Jaji where he urged the new leadership to enhance the welfare of the members of the party and also ensure that justice and fairness continue to prevail in the discharge of their duties.
As for Senator Hassan Nasiha who held the brief of the leadership of the party in the state as Caretaker Chairman, he commended members of the party as well as the organizers of the congresses sent from the party headquarters for ensuring smooth conduct of the party congress in the state.
In his major remarks during the visit, the new Chairman thanked all those who contributed to the successful conduct of the party congress.
He promised that the party under his leadership would remain resolve to working in synergy with the government of Bello Matawalle with a view to ensuring that unity of purpose has been achieved.
