Nigerian soldiers have killed a total of (217) terrorists in the month of February 2025.
They have also successfully arrested a total of (574) members of various terrorist groups within the same month under review.
General Markus Kangye the Director of the Defense Information stated this in a statement he issued in Abuja.
He added that the Nigeria soldiers have also rescued a total of (320) individuals that have been kidnapped by the various terrorists organizations.
He also stated that a total of (152) members of ISWAP and Boko Haram as well as their families surrendered to the Nigerian authorities.
He also explained that, the Nigerian soldiers have made some recoveries of arms including (159) units of AK 47 rifles, and (54) locally made rifles as well.
He further states that ammunition branded in the name of NATO totaling (1,506) we’re recovered in the month under review.
General Kangye said the exercise by the Nigerian soldiers was done in collaboration with the office of the National Security Adviser and other sister security agencies..
