OUR POLITICAL STRENGTH IN ZAMFARA IS INCONTESTABLE : SEN. YARI INSIST

The senator representing Zamfara West, Abdul Aziz Yari Abubakar has paid a congratulatory visit to the former Governor of Zamfara state, Bello Muhammad Matawalle at his resident in Asokoro on Thursday.

It could be recalled that former Governor of Zamfara state Bello Muhammad Matawalle was nominated by President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to serve as a Minister in his cabinet.

The last list of the ministerial nominees containing the name of Bello Matawalle was transmitted to the Senate by the Chief of Staff to the President Femi Bajabiamila on Wednesday.

Governor Yari in a remark described the nomination of Bello Matawalle as well deserved to, especially considering his level of contribution to the Presidential candidature of Bola Ahmad Tinubu.

“What Mr. President has done for us, the people of Zamfara is the right decision. We have appreciated it and that is the better way to pay the former Governor back for the sacrifice he has made to ensure the success of President Bola Tinubu so to us the good people of Zamfara the decision is democratic”.

“We are here to rejoice with you and also congratulate you on the new task ahead of you. The best thing you expect from us is continued prayer for you to succeed, and we shall intensify it at all time”.

“Your appointment as minister for now is a good step. We know ourselves and also understand our political capacity, and we shall continue to maintained that unity because it is what determined our success”.

“Like I keep saying, our political unity is a winning one and no one shall be in doubt of our ability to deliver Zamfara state at all time but what happened to us as a party is another destiny from God. We have accepted it in good fate” Yari added.

“Our political strength is incontestable and, like I said, within our team here, if you give us three hours to come up with a workable formula for winning an election in Zamfara we can come up with it but as believers we are optimistic that God is perfectly right for making what happened in 2023 to happened, and we have accepted the decision “.

Former Governor Matawalle thanked Sen. Yari for the visit and emphasized that Yari remains a leader whose path will always lead to success.

He commended Sen. Yari for his commitment to the APC project and assured that he will continue to play his part of the role to ensure that Zamfara APC supporters are well taken care of.

“If you could remember we had discussed a lot with you and, like I promised you, I will continue to play my role and ensure that the party remains active and alive in Zamfara state” Matawalle added.
