APC CHIEFTAIN SANI WAMBAN SHINKAFI HAILS PRESIDENT TINUBU FOR PICKING FMR. GOV. MATAWALLE AS MINISTER REPRESENTING ZAMFARA

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Sani Shinkafi has commended President Bola TINUBU for nominating former Zamfara State Governor, Dr Bello Matawalle as minister in his cabinet.

Sani Shinkafi in a statement he personally signed stated that the decision to nominate former Governor Bello Matawalle to serve in the cabinet of President Bola Tinubu as “patriotism at its finest and a giant step to a prosperous Nigeria”.

“Dr Matawalle’s appointment has further renewed and reinforced Nigerians’ confidence in President Tinubu’s determination to redirect the ship of the nation to the path of rectitude, progress, development, and advancement”.

The statement further stated that “Matawalle is a proven leader, administrator and grassroots politician, Dr Matawalle will add value to the government of President Tinubu as citizens yearn for dividends of democracy”.

Wambai added “Matawalle is a team player, an experienced politician who served as commissioner, three times member of the House of Representatives and Executive Governor of Zamfara State for one term. Matawalle delivered Zamfara State to Tinubu with the highest number of votes in the whole North West region”.

“Tinubu has renewed the confidence of members of APC in Zamfara State by appointing him a Minister”.

“Dr Matawalle’s achievements as the action governor of Zamfara State despite security challenges were eloquent testimony of his competence, capacity, and courage to meet the yearnings, aspirations, and expectations of the people under his watch”.

He stated further “Matawalle is a man of integrity, Dr. Matawalle will justify the confidence Nigerians reposed in him in the quest for a strong, stable, progressive, equitable and peaceful democratic society”.

“I urge fellow Nigerians to set aside partisan politics and join hands with President Tinubu in building a better nation. He has assembled the best ministerial team that will renew hope of the people in the fatherland and make Nigeria great again. With God on our side, the nation will overcome the current socio-economic, political and security challenges”.

SEN. YARI DONATES (13) TRUCKS OF MAIZE TO PEOPLE OF TALATAR MAFARA

Former Governor of Zamfara state and Senator representing Zamfara West, Hon. Dr. Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar (Shattiman Zamfara) has secured (13) trucks of Maize containing (3900) bags for distribution to his immediate community of Talatar Mafara.

The distribution is to be handled by the (11) man committee headed by Malam Hamza Abubakar.

A total of 68 communities consisting of 21,075 households will benefit with a total of 3900 bags of Maize.

According the chairman, the beneficiaries cut across religious devices as instructed by the donor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar.

According to the committee Chairman, former Governor Yari has considered the social condition of the people emanating from the removal of fuel subsidy by the current administration.

He assured that, the committee will be just and fair in the discharge of their duties.

He called on people to give them maximum support and cooperation in the discharged of their duty in order to achieve the desire success.

(31) PEOPLE DIES, (274) SUSTAIN INJURIES IN ADAMAWA ROAD CRASHES.

The Federal Road Safety Corp Adamawa state command has revealed that a total of (31) people died as a result of various road crashes within the state.

The statistics also showed that, a total of (274) people also sustained various degree of injuries as a result of the road crashes.

The Adamawa sector command also recorded (126) various road crashes involving (548) passengers within the period under review.

The statistics covered a period of January to July 2023.

The sector commandant of the state, Mr. Yelwa Dio when he interacted with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He attributed the road crashes to over-loading, over speeding and making telephone calls while driving.
