Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Zamfara has announced the formal reception of former Governor Yari and members of his political camp to the PDP.
State Chairman of the party Col. Bala Mande (Rtd) who announced this while briefing journalists in Gusau said, the national leadership of the party, the state and indeed all stakeholders have accepted their defection to the party.
“We have accepted their coming and their coming will surely strengthen us the more, and we are sure will form a government in 2023”.
“We have agreed within ourselves to work together and if by God willing we have succeeded we shall share appointments with all sense of equality”.
He said, they were in Zamfara to brief other members of the party on the development.
He assured that discussion is ongoing and justice will be done to all members of the party.
