The funeral prayer of Imam Idris Abdulaziz Dutsen Tanshi was conducted at the game village ID-EL prayer ground in Bauchi on Friday at around 10:00am.
Thousands of Muslim faithfuls attended the funeral prayers and later escorted his remains to the cemetery for burial.
The death of the popular Islamic cleric was announced late at night and the story went all over the social media.
It could be recall that, late Idris Abdulaziz got sick few days before the commencement of the 2025 Ramadan, and he was reported to have travelled to the holy land for medication.
Even after his return, his health condition could not allow him to perform this year’s Tafsir at his Dutsen Tanshi Jumu’a mosque.
