Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal has called on the people of Zamfara to set aside their differences and work toward supporting the policies of the government which are purely targeted at the rescue mission.
The Governor stated this during the 2025 Special Sallah broadcast held in Gusau on Sunday.
He congratulated Zamfara people and indeed entire Muslim Ummah for the return of another Id-el fitr and pray for God almighty to spare our lives to see more of similar Id-el fitr.
The Governor who stated that the people of Zamfara should not forget the security challenges faced by the state for over (11) years instead urged everyone to continue to pray for peace to return to the state.
He assured that his government will continue to work its ways to ensure that peace has return and that everybody will go about doing his businesses.
He added that his government is working hand in hand with the security agencies to ensure that the criminals are defeated.
He also stated that his administration will not be relentless in making sure that the objective of restoring peace has been achieved.
He commended the security agencies for working harder to ensure that much-needed successes in terms of fighting insecurity have been achieved.
To compliment the successes, he said his government is doing a lot to bring the desired reforms in critical sectors such as education, the health sector and even the airport project which he said will bring the needed development in the state.
